Chilean football has no when: in the ANFP they say there is "no clarity" for the return of the National Championship

The critical situation that the country has lived since last Friday for the intense social manifestations has hit Chilean soccer hard, which is suspended until further notice. The state of emergency in which five regions are (Coquimbo, Valparaiso, Metropolitana, O’Higgins and Bio Bio) have the ANFP totally paralyzed

Although in the first instance the governing body of Chilean football had suspended all the matches of First Division, First B, Second Professional, Women's Soccer and Young Soccer in the Metropolitan Region, the social outbreak in several cities of the country forced the entire date to be canceled on Saturday afternoon.

The hours have passed and the social crisis has not subsided and in the ANFP there is concern, although something is clear: football will not return as long as the situation in the country does not normalize, so even the next date is also on hold.

"We have no clarity on anything. It all depends on how the situation in the country is resolved, we think that this issue is more important than any reprogramming.", warns Rodrigo Robles, ANFP Professional League Manager in conversation with The Chile Chart.

The former leader of O'Higgins adds that "As much as we move forward scenarios, everything will depend on the direction the country takes. Today it is a bit rushed to define some scenario because things, as we have seen, can change at any time. ”

In Quilin they assure that they maintain direct contact with all the clubs of Chilean soccer, and that although Reprogramming will be done in time, they also assume that the calendar is pressing for the end of the year.
