Swiss freestyle skiing is doing well. In Modena, Mathilde Gremaud took the Big Air event ahead of Giulia Tanno, while Andri Ragletti took 3rd place in the men's event.

The 19-year-old Fribourgeoise finished fifth, but she clearly advanced to the final, completing two of the top three runs. The Swiss triumph is total thanks to the second place of Giulia Tanno. The Grisonne was, however, relegated to 18.5 points from his compatriot. Canada's Dara Howell completes this first podium of the season.

Laureate last season on the same springboard in Modena, the vice-Olympic champion slopestyle proves she is the best at this time since she dominated the last event of last season in Quebec.

In the men's event, Andri Ragletti took 3rd place. The victory went to the American Alexander Hall in front of the Norwegian Birk Ruud.
